Overview
Evaluation bricks are interactive question types that assess learner comprehension. Each evaluation brick provides immediate feedback and scoring.
Question Types
Single Choice
A multiple-choice question where the learner selects one correct answer from a list of options.
Configuration:
- Question text (rich text)
- Multiple answer options
- Mark one option as correct
- Feedback for correct and incorrect answers
Multi-Select
A multiple-choice question where the learner selects all correct answers from a list. Multiple options can be marked as correct.

- Mark one or more options as correct

True / False
A binary question where the learner chooses between two options.
Configuration:
- Question statement (rich text)
- Correct answer (true or false)
- Feedback messages
Short Answer
A free-text question where the learner types their answer. The answer is validated against one or more accepted answers.
Configuration:
- Question text (rich text)
- One or more accepted answers
- Case-sensitive or case-insensitive matching
- Feedback messages
Fill in the Blank
A text passage with missing words that the learner must complete. Blanks are placed inline within the text.
Configuration:
- Text content with blank placeholders
- Accepted answers for each blank

Matching
A pairing exercise where the learner connects items from two columns.
Configuration:
- Left column items
- Right column items
- Correct pairings
- Feedback messages
Sorting
An ordering exercise where the learner arranges items in the correct sequence.
Configuration:
- List of items to sort
- Correct order
- Feedback messages
Sorting Groups
A categorization exercise where the learner places items into the correct groups.
Configuration:
- Group definitions (categories)
- Items to categorize
- Correct group assignments

Order Words
A sentence construction exercise where the learner arranges words into the correct order.

Common Features
All evaluation bricks share these features:
- Instruction message — Custom instructions shown before the question
- Feedback — Separate messages for correct and incorrect answers
- Blocker mode — Optionally prevent progression until answered correctly
