Share Links

Create and manage share links to distribute your content.

Overview

Share links let you distribute your content to learners without requiring them to have a Bricks account. Each link provides direct access to the content player.

  1. Open your content in the editor or from the content card actions
  2. Click Share
  3. Click Create share link
  4. Configure access settings
  5. Copy the generated link

Access Settings

Public Access

The link is accessible to anyone who has it. No authentication required.

Password Protection

Require a password to access the content:

  1. Enable Password protection
  2. Set a password
  3. Learners will be prompted to enter the password before viewing

Time-Limited Access

Set an expiration date after which the link becomes inactive.

You can create multiple share links per content, each with different settings. From the share management panel:

  • View — See all active share links
  • Copy — Copy the link URL to clipboard
  • Edit — Change access settings
  • Delete — Deactivate a share link

Share links use short IDs for clean, shareable URLs:

https://yourdomain.com/share/abc123
