Editor Overview
Learn how to use the Bricks visual editor.
The Editor
The Bricks editor is a visual, drag-and-drop environment where you build your learning content. It's divided into several areas.
Editor Layout
| Area | Description |
|---|---|
| Sidebar | Lesson list (courses), content settings, and navigation |
| Canvas | The main editing area where you add and arrange bricks |
| Brick Panel | Configuration panel for the selected brick |
| Toolbar | Quick actions, preview, and sharing |
Working with Bricks
Bricks are the building blocks of your content. Each brick is a self-contained component — a text block, an image, a quiz question, a game, and so on.
Adding Bricks
Click the Add brick button or the insertion point between existing bricks. Choose from the brick catalog organized by category.
Selecting Bricks
Click on any brick to select it. The brick panel on the right will show its configuration options.
Reordering Bricks
Drag bricks up or down to reorder them within a lesson. Grab the drag handle on the left side of each brick.
Deleting Bricks
Select a brick and click the Delete button, or use the brick's action menu.
Preview
Click the Preview button in the toolbar to see your content as learners will experience it. The preview opens the content player with all interactive features enabled.
Auto-Save
All changes are saved automatically as you edit. There's no need to manually save — your content is always up to date.
In collaborative mode (organization scope), changes are synchronized in real time across all editors.
